About North Phoenix The North Phoenix area is north of the 101 between 56^th Street and Cave Creek Road up to Jomax Road. The center of this community is the Desert Ridge Marketplace and includes one of the largest master planned communities in Arizona – Desert Ridge. The area is a great mix of shopping, world-class dining, and amenities. It is also home to the JW Marriott Resort and the Wildfire Golf Club with its 2 public golf courses designed by Arnold Palmer and Nick Faldo. Desert Ridge Desert Ridge is comprised of 13 different communities with a mix of condominiums, townhomes and single family detached. The 5700 acre community started in the late 1990s and is now home to more than 6000 residents. Children of residents attend schools in the Paradise Valley School District.

Toscana at Desert Ridge Toscana was built by the Statesman Group to provide luxury condominium living for those looking for a low maintenance lifestyle. Units are 1 – 3 bedroom and range in size from 792 to 2400 square feet. The community, with 24 hour guard gate and community pool/spa, backs to the Wildfire Golf Course offering its residents fabulous golf course views. Condos are priced from the high $190k’s to mid $300k.

Fiesta at Desert Ridge Fiesta was built in the late 1990s by Trend Homes. Another neighborhood for those looking for low maintenance living, square footage ranges from 1200 to 2100+ with Ranch home architecture. The community has hiking/biking paths along with a children’s playground. Homes are all two story with two car garage and are currently priced in the $200ks.

Bella Monte at Desert Ridge Bella Monte is another alternative for luxury, low-maintenance condo living in Desert Ridge. Started in 2007, the 2 bedroom, 2 bath townhomes range in size from 1360 to 1884 square feet with new units built in 2014 still available. The community is gated and includes a pool, spa and fitness area. Units are priced from the mid $200k to mid $500k.

Fireside at Desert Ridge Fireside is one of the most sought after areas to live in Desert Ridge and is a great example of sophisticated, urban living. The neighborhood has both 1400 square foot townhomes and single family detached residences up to 3500+ square feet homes with 5 bedrooms, something for every one. Built by Pulte/Del Webb and recently sold out, the community features a 12,000 square foot community center, outdoor water activity center, Kids zone, activity director for both children and adult sport groups, tennis, basketball, picnic ramadas and more. Homes are currently available in a wide range of prices from the mid $200k to the high $600k.

Aviano at Desert Ridge Aviano is a luxury community built by Toll Brothers. The single family Tuscan and Spanish Colonial style semi-custom homes range in size from 2400 square feet to a few over 6000 square feet, some floor plans which feature basements. A 15,000 square foot community center is at the heart of the neighborhood with swimming pool and spa facilities, fully equipped fitness center, tennis courts, numerous parks and picnic areas and walking trails. Prices range from the mid $400k to high $800k.

The Villages at Aviano Inside Aviano is the gated Tuscan architecture condominium community of the Villages. The open floor plans with direct access two car garages range from 1334 to 2158 square feet. All of the community features of Aviano are available to residents of the Villages. Homes are currently prices from the mid $200k to high $300k range.

Stonecrest at Desert Ridge Stonecrestback ups to the public Wildfire Golf Course affording many home owners wonderful golf course views. Built in the late 1990s by Engle homes, the large single family homes range in size from 2400 to 4400 square feet. The neighborhood with biking/walking paths is one of the smaller neighborhoods in Desert Ridge with homes selling in the $500k - $700k range.

Sierra Pass at Desert Ridge This Desert Ridge neighborhood was also built at the start of the development of Desert Ridge in the mid to late 1990s by Richmond American resulting in a prime location within walking distance to the Desert Ridge Marketplace. Another small subdivision of under 90 homes, 3 -5 bedroom floor plans range from 2432 to 4300+ square feet. Recent homes have sold in the Upper $500k.

La Verne at Desert Ridge The La Verne luxury condominiums bring a bit of old world Tuscan charm to Desert Ridge with wrought ironbalconies, fountains and a blend of stone and stucco exterior textures. The majority of the floorplans are 2 bedroom/2 bath with a few offering 3 bedrooms. Sizes range from 1000 – 1600+ square feet. The gated community features a heated pool/spa, clubhouse and workout facility – perfect for a second home or full time residents.

Glen Eagle at Desert Ridge This Desert Ridge community of just under 100 single family residences was built in the late 1990s by Morrison Homes of Arizona. Floor plans range in size from 1735 – 2801 square feet with both single and two story elevations. Recent sales have been in the upper $300k.

Cielo at Desert Ridge Located at the SW corner of Tatum and Pinnacle Peak, Cielo is also just minutes away from the Desert Ridge Marketplace and all its amenities. One of the newer communities in Desert Ridge, construction sarted in 2009 and was recently completed. The one and two story elevations start at 1700 to over 4000 square feet. A Clubhouse and biking/walking paths are also features in this neighborhood. Recent home prices are $450k +.

Wildcat Ridge at Desert Ridge Demand has always been high for this particular subdivision in Desert Ridge with its very close proximity to both Highway 101 and 51 plus the Marketplace. Developed in the early 2000s by Continental Homes, Wildcat Ridge also is one of the more affordable single family home neighborhoods in the area. Square footage range from 1100 to 2300 for the 3 and 4 bedroom floor plans. Homes are currently selling in the $200k to low $300k range.

Leroux Springs This gated semi-custom home community is located on the public Wildfire Golf Course with many home sites having excellent golf course views. Builder M/I Homes began construction in 2000 and features open floor plans from 2900 to over 4000 square feet. This smaller community just steps away from the JW Marriott is currently selling in the $800k range.

Tatum Highlands Tatum Highlands is located just north of Desert Ridge - north and south of Jomax and west of Tatum Blvd to 40^th Street. Eight different builders were part of the development which adds to the uniqueness of the area of over 1432 homes. This area is appealing to all types of buyers with square footages from 1275 to over 3500 square feet and 2 to 5 bedroom floor plans. At the center of the community is John Teets Park (maintained by the City of Phoenix) with its playground ramada, basketball court, volleyball court and plenty of grassy play areas. There are several washes that enhance the Natural Area Open Spaces throughout the community. Homes are currently prices between $200k – low $500k.
