About DC Ranch
DC Ranch sits on over 8300 acres on the western slope of the McDowell Mountains in North Scottsdale and features warm, family friendly neighborhoods and a wide range of amenities for all residents. There are two private clubs in DC Ranch – The Country Club and Silverleaf (see separate community entry). Nearly half of the land is preserved as wilderness or open space allowing for miles of paths and trails. Home prices in DC Ranch run from the high 200ks for condominiums to 4+ million $.
Community Centers
There are 2 community centers in DC Ranch – Desert Camp and Homestead. Desert Camp is a 8000 square foot facility on 9 acres featuring a heated recreational and tot pool, fitness room, basketball, volleyball and tennis courts, indoor and outdoor event facilities and an Adventure Playground. The Homestead is a 7000 square feet facility on 4 acres that houses the Playhouse Community Theatre, demo kitchen, basketball courts and a playground. Both community centers offer Adult, Child, Youth and Teen activities.
The Country Club at DC Ranch
The private course was designed by Tom Lehman and John Fought with spectacular views from all 18 holes. The 35,000 square feet Hacienda Clubhouse has a mixed grill along with The Formal Bar which is the club’s social hub with weekly happy hours and club events. There is a poolside café catering to the 2 pools. Championship tennis courts, kid camps, bridge clubs, pool parties and BBQs are just a few of the events open to members of the very active club. Memberships to the club are sold through market-based pricing (members set the price) and currently are priced at $65,000 - $70,000. A Sport-Social membership is available for $17,000 ($657 monthly) which includes unlimited golf between June – Dec but limited through the peak season. Clubhouse memberships are available for an initiation fee of $5000 ($451 monthly).
Dining and Shopping
Three separate shopping centers can be found within the DC Ranch area with many dining options, grocery stores, shops, neighborhood conveniences and office space.
Community Assessments and Fees
DC Ranch fees are assessed monthly and include a Community, Ranch Association and Neighborhood fee (if applicable). Fees vary per neighborhood and address.
