Cave Creek

About Cave Creek
Cave Creek has preserved its Wild West character after more than 100 years, hard to do when located so close to metropolitan cities like Scottsdale and Phoenix. Cave Creek was founded as a stopping point for the US Cavalry in the mid 1870’s and as a gold mining town. Located high above Phoenix (and next door to Carefree) in the foothills of Black Mountain, Skull Mesa and Elephant Butte, Cave Creek has remained a small, friendly city.
Several saloons mixed in with fine dining establishments, western and other specialty shops, Rodeo Events, Galleries and live music can be found throughout town and help lend to its charm.
For residents, Cave Creek’s appeal extends to the wide open spaces and ability to own acreage, many with horse privileges and no restrictions. Home prices range from $250,000+ condos to million $+ estates. The pristine mountain views and towering saguaro that surround the town make this a very desirable location.
