About Desert Highlands
Desert Highlands was built around a multi-award winning Jack Nicklaus golf course – voted 7 times by GolfWeek in the top 100 Residential Golf Communities in America. Located on 850 acres on the south side of Pinnacle Peak in North Scottsdale, the 24-hour guard gated established community has 575 homesites. A strong sense of community and fabulous amenities make this a popular choice for a main residence or second home.
The 30,000 square feet clubhouse is the heart of Desert Highlands. Never too formal, never too casual – members truly enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the club that is built between Pinnacle Peak and rock formations for a unique setting. The club also offers members a full calendar of events including holiday brunch/dinners, unique chef dinners, golf event parties and more. All come with the fabulous sunset and city light views.
Pool, Fitness and Tennis
The resort style pool is heated to 83 degrees year round for members and is available for private events. State of the art equipment and an experienced staff can be found in the fitness center, offering Spin, Yoga, Pilates, Zumba and other classes in a small, intimate setting. The tennis facilities include 13 courts with clay, grass or hard surfaces. Weekly games for members, inter-club matches, instruction and member socials are available.
To play the Jack Nicklaus designed golf course at Desert Highlands, home of the first Skins Games in 1983 and 1984, is often incentive enough for membership to the club. Along with all the history and awards, the 7108 yard par-72 golf course features dramatic elevated tee boxes, major desert areas and spectacular views.

When you purchase a home or lot at Desert Highlands, membership to the club is included with a membership transfer fee of $75,000. Monthly dues are $1170.
